Lord Jagannath attire daily besas such as,Abakasa,Badasinhara & Sadhabeasa.Suna besa or the golden cousume is held five times in a year,out of which four times on Ratna Singhasan and once on Ratha in front of Singhadwara,The occasions when this extraordinary besa is observed is as follows.

2.KARTIK PURNAMI
3.POUSHA PURNAMI
4.DOLA PURNIMA
5.ASWINA SHUKLA DASAMI(DUSSEHERA)
